One press release, copied by three news sites
One news site reused 100% of its words.
Updated Friday, October 23, 2026
May 7, 2026: Ichud Hatzalah of Israel 1221 put out a press release about the Health Minister’s visit.
One news site reused 100% of its words. Another used 61%. A third ran the second site’s story word for word, with no credit found.
Readers may think several outlets reported this on their own. They were mostly repeating one release.
The proof
Their statement: Hebrew release 4:45 AM ET and English release 5:26 AM ET, May 7, 2026 (Health Minister visit).
The record: Kikar (7:08 AM ET) reused 100% of the Hebrew release. JNS “JNS Staff” (8:34 AM ET) 61% of the English text, with attribution. VIN (12:10 AM ET May 8) ran a body identical to JNS (367-word run) with no JNS credit found.
Which is it? Whether VIN has a JNS syndication licence is unproven.
