What they said

A documentary on the organization’s YouTube channel says: “That day they treated 12,000 people.”

What the records show

The organization’s own October 7 page says 12,000 emergency calls. The whole country’s hospitals received about 1,340 wounded that day.

Why it matters for donors

A call is not the same as a person treated. Donors should know which one is meant.

The proof

Their statement: A Channel 14 documentary posted on the organization’s YouTube channel (Oct 26, 2025) says at 23:30: “That day they treated 12,000 people. For certain 800 people would not have survived.” (Our translation from Hebrew.)

The record: The organization’s own October 7 page says “Over 12,000 Emergency calls received on October 7th” — calls, not people treated. The page does not say how many people were treated. The State Comptroller counts about 1,340 casualties taken to hospitals in all of Israel that day.

Which is it? The same number is used for calls and for people treated. Which is it? No basis is given for the 800.
