The statement does not mention other groups that also went in.
The proof
Their statement: The organization’s CEO told the Knesset Finance Committee (Nov 28, 2023) that it was “the only medical body that went inside the fire zone to bring wounded out.” (Our translation from Hebrew.)
The record: The State Comptroller reports MDA had about 300 ambulances in the area, evacuated about 525 wounded — 84 of them in 8 bullet-proof ambulances — and 21 more by helicopter. In the same Knesset session MDA named its paramedic who was killed while treating the wounded.
Which is it? Other groups also went in, according to the State Comptroller. This is about an organizational claim; it takes nothing away from any volunteer who went in.
