The Israeli group’s official filing lists 482 paid employees, along with 8,015 volunteers. FOUH, the American fundraising arm, paid its President, Eli Beer, $688,791 in 2024.
Volunteers are real. But donors should know there is also a large paid staff.
The proof
Their statement: Beer, The Momentum Podcast × Impact by Momentum, YouTube W6CQzbvDaL0, published Nov 9, 2025, at 00:00 and 19:00 (machine transcript, ±30 s): “Today, we have 8,000 members… All volunteer. All volunteers.”
The record: The volunteer count matches the Registrar (8,015 volunteers), but the same Israeli filing lists 482 employees (2024); top-5 salaries totalled ₪2.63M (CEO ₪581,302). FOUH’s 2024 990 reports Beer’s compensation at $688,791 ($557,705 + $131,086 other; base 419,672, bonus 100,000, deferred 121,900, other 47,219).
Which is it? Volunteers do exist in large numbers; the contrast is the omission of paid staff.
